At two in the morning someone looks up GRÄNDRØ. The feed has already hidden him.

Someone who runs nights saw a clip, kept the name and looks it up in the small hours. This is how grandro.music, home of a DJ who plays in four cities, receives them: it plays first, then tells you who the artist is and keeps WhatsApp within reach for bookings and collaborations.

The momentA clip, a name and a search in the small hours

It is two in the morning. Someone who runs nights (a club, a series, a private party) has just seen a fragment of a set on someone else’s phone. One name sticks: GRÄNDRØ. The line-up has to be closed tomorrow, so they look it up now, in bed, with the volume down.

What they find in the next thirty seconds decides whether they write or move to the next name on the list. For whoever books music, doubts are almost never solved by asking. They are solved with another artist.

The problemThe project is scattered across five apps

In electronic music an artist’s presence usually lives on several platforms at once: one for photos, one for long sets, one for tracks, one for short videos. Each shows a piece. None answers at a glance what a booker needs: what it sounds like, where the project has been and how to book a date.

The usual route is the direct message. But a message from a stranger tends to sit in requests, mixed with comments and compliments, and is sometimes seen days later. For an organiser, a few days of waiting can mean the line-up is already closed.

There is a second, quieter problem: the first impression. A link with a list of buttons says “there is a profile here”. It does not say “here is a project that takes care of its sound”.

For whoever books music, doubt is not solved by asking: it is solved with another name.

The solutionA home of its own that plays before it is read

grandro.music is the project’s own address, with the name in the domain. The home page introduces him as a DJ and electronic music producer and states the style plainly: Melodic & Hypnotic Techno, 122–128 BPM. Anyone looking for a specific sound for their night knows in one line whether it fits.

Below come the four cities he plays in (Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Vienna and Belgrade) and a visualiser that reacts to the audio. There is a button to listen now and another to press play, and links to SoundCloud, Spotify, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok sit together in one place. The menu is short: Home, Artist, Debut album and Contact & Bookings. Booking is not hidden in a bio: it has its own section.

Two details show how carefully the project is presented. On arrival, a notice says browsing is private with no tracking cookies. And anyone sensitive to light or motion can turn the effects off with one tap. It is an immersive experience that also thinks of those who cannot take it in the same way.

Once the visitor has heard enough, the host in the corner takes over. It lets people learn more about the artist and his identity: who GRÄNDRØ is and what lies behind the name. And when the conversation reaches a date or a shared idea, it passes it to the project’s WhatsApp, which is where bookings and collaborations are discussed.

What changesFrom the clip to the message, without losing anyone on the way

For the person searching, the effort changes. In one place they listen, understand the style and find how to book. They do not have to piece the artist together by jumping between apps at two in the morning.

For the project, what arrives changes. A WhatsApp message from someone who already knows the artist, whether for a booking or a collaboration, is easier to answer than a “hi, price?” lost among requests. And the link organisers forward to each other stops being one more profile: it is an address with its own name.

And the address does not depend on the algorithm. A post sinks in the feed; grandro.music stays in the same place tomorrow, next month and the next time someone looks it up in the small hours.

For your projectIf you live from being booked for dates

If you are a DJ, a musician, a photographer or run a creative project that is booked by date, the usual starting point is a custom one-page site with a conversation that presents your project and passes the enquiry to your WhatsApp. No templates, and your name in the address. It is the plan GRÄNDRØ chose: the Impulso website.
